Hello, my name is Bianca and I work as an interface and user experience designer.

One of the biggest challenges for companies is relevant communication in this scenario of abundance of content and information. The quest for relevance involves in-depth knowledge of each customer in demographic, geographic and behavioral terms.

With this challenge came the Customer Data Platform (CDP) from Iris Data Driven Marketing, a business intelligence platform and ultra-segmented campaigns from the 4all hub. Iris was developed to make the most of its data potential and make the business increasingly data-driven, identifying and executing the appropriate communication for each client, in the right channel, in the right way and at the most pertinent moment.

The team, made up of business development, ux design, back-end, front-end and data scientists, worked with the Scrum methodology for projects, which guarantees agility in management and development, based on a division of cycles called sprints. A sprint represents a Time Box within which a set of activities are performed.

I worked for over a year on the complete redesign of the data driven marketing Iris platform, at the 4all technology hub. The whole part of discovery, usability tests and analysis of business metrics was done until reaching the final result of the screens presented. Some confidential data has been hidden.

Follow-up: meetings with the board of directors and in-team meetings, such and daily scrums and agile methodologies.

Many research methodologies were used during the process, as follows: focal group with stakeholders and a roadmap of closed-ended questions, user persona creation, development of a mind map related to the project's overall needs, empathy map for visualizing stakeholder needs, discussion of partial results in meetings with the in-house technology team, in-house brainstorming, and behavioral reporting.

Based on these research methods, some of the needs found were: faster information updates for management, easier definition of higher costs and outliers, simplicity in visualizing overall and detailed information, need to export data for in-house discussions, and need to view information graphically and simply.

As a result, filterable dashboards were built, with an option to export results split into financial and epidemiological categories. This project's color palette was created based on studies related to accessibility, healthcare, reliability, and stability.

The resulting landing page is geared towards B2C commercialization of scalable products beyond the initial contract. Internal dashboards in a customizable application based on customer segment.

Data Health is an application project created in partnership with a health insurance company from Pelotas, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. There was this need to track financial and epidemiological data through filterable dashboards in order to plan business strategies and improve customer service quality.*

Early research into the organization's materials and competition benchmarks was essential for determining the project outline. A set of meetings with stakeholders was held to showcase the research, wireframes, and final results.

A follow-up with the development team was required to fine-tune some details and interactions.

The blog layout was based on the company's visual identity and its application on the corporate website to maintain unity. Multiple microinteractions were added to consolidate the current visual identity and highlight the institution's efforts intuitively. Instituto Caldeira's original color palette consists of green, red, and black, with the later addition of white and grey specifically for the blog, focusing on a seamless navigation and providing users with a smooth reading experience to prevent eye fatigue.

The mobile version was built to offer the same kind of modern experience, with a layout suited for better navigation and improved visualization of blog posts and images.

This corporate blog needed to be redesigned to align with the launch of the institution's new website. The blog's main goal is to announce institutional projects, interviews with creators, and articles on relevant topics.

Its key differentiator is the availability of a library containing books recommended by people who are deemed relevant by the institution.

Blog redesign for Instituto Caldeira, a non-profit organization based in Porto Alegre, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. 

A brief survey to list required features and overall project decisions in order to create an application that can be used mainly on tablets and provides communication with delivery people and other employees. 

Graphical dashboards application designed to provide information dynamically and effectively for restaurant owners during working hours or when preparing the company's balance sheet.

This project's color palette was based on studies in the financial and gastronomy segments, focusing on fast information visualization and tracking during a restaurant's busiest hours.

UI project completed in two days to meet the urgent need of dashboards that users can navigate through based on field research, which highlighted the importance of an improved tracking system for restaurants.

Dashboards created for restaurants whose goal is to provide order tracking, inventory management, and client feedback.

The project discovery phase was carried out by the National Research Network (RNP) in Brazil. Its visual aspect was made possible by the analysis of results obtained.

During project development, usability testing was executed with users from different ages and educational backgrounds in a research effort by the Federal University of Uberlândia, in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, backed by the RNP. Testing was fundamental for process validation and decision-making.

Testing results helped determine opportunities for improvement and validate ideas concerning the project's progression.

Based on some of CAPES and RNP requirements, the final result was obtained: an opening screen, as well as an onboarding modal which explains the tool's goals and highlights featured terms and researchers, making it easier for new users to navigate through the tool.

Results were shown with a focus on graphical visualization and the ability to apply filters to search terms, including fields such as institution, period, industry, and more.

These filters enable users to view researchers and topics related to the original search term more specifically. 

Search results are displayed on a list with industries tagged on each result, with the ability to bookmark institutions and researchers found for further queries.

This project's visual references were based on existing products related to the government in order to maintain visual unity with such products.

Some visual and functional requirements were predetermined, and no further changes were allowed.

CAPES' signature blue was the main color used, along with a palette of additional colors to highlight information and draw attention to visual elements. The color palette was created based on usability testing, focusing on making information clearly visible, especially on the graphical results displayed.

Sucupira Painéis is a platform built for CAPES whose goal is to make data visualization and retrieval from Brazilian graduate programs easier. This platform allows users to search for a topic or keyword and find graduate programs and researchers in that field of study. Results are returned and ranked based on scientific works (papers, patents, books, among others). The platform also provides a profile for viewing production quantitative data from a graduate program or researcher, presenting such information in a graphical, intuitive fashion.

This project is currently under further development, with new functionalities to be added in its following version.

Sucupira Painéis is a graphical visualization tool based on the Sucupira platform, which is the reference database for the National Graduate Program (SNPG) in Brazil.
